Employee agreements, such as non-compete agreements, non-disclosure agreements, arbitration agreements, severance agreements, and settlement agreements, are important tools for employers to reduce legal risk. However, these types of agreements must be carefully drafted in order to be enforceable, particularly in light of recent changes in the law. This presentation will focus on best practices for preparing and utilizing these agreements, including pitfalls for employers to avoid throughout the process.
