Andrew Kasmen and Jared Slipman to Present on Business Succession Planning

On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, Obermayer  attorneys Andrew Kasmen and Jared Slipman will present on business succession planning before the Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. Their panel will be titled “A Primer on Succession Planning” and will focus on issues, options and strategies in passing a business to the next generation of ownership.

Andrew focuses his practice on all aspects of real estate and banking law, including acquisitions and sales of commercial and residential real property, commercial leasing, lender finance and other transactional matters. He counsels public and private corporations and other enterprises in simple and complex business transactions. He helps clients in the formation of corporations, limited liability companies, and other investment and operating entities. Andrew represents a number of the largest title insurance companies in the country in coverage and recovery matters.

Jared focuses his practice on tax structuring and analysis attendant to corporate transactions as well as advising clients on tax considerations critical to intercompany restructuring, debt financing, choice of entity questions, third-party financing, and formation and liquidation transactions. As a trusted advisor, Jared provides corporate tax and legal entity structuring guidance to clients in connection with complex commercial transactions, which have included significant IPOs.
