Attorney Adam Tanker to Moderate Bucks county Bar CLE “The Expansion of Third Party Custody Rights”
Obermayer family law attorney Adam Tanker will moderate Family Law CLE titled, “The Expansion of Third Party Custody Rights” on Friday, September 27, 2019 at the 2019 Bucks County Bench Bar Conference. The event will be held at the Seaview Hotel and Golf Club in Galloway, NJ. The Bucks County Bar Association (BCBA) is one of the oldest bar associations in the United States of America. The first courts held in Bucks County were those established by William Penn, as early as 1683 when the first Provincial Assembly divided the state into Philadelphia, Bucks, and Chester counties.

Adam is a seasoned litigator who focuses his practice on family law matters. His practice includes prenuptial agreements, custody, domestic abuse and protection from abuse matters, child and spousal support, divorce, separation, and cohabitation. Adam is a former Deputy District Attorney for the Bucks County, Pennsylvania, District Attorney’s office, where he served as Chief of the Asset Forfeiture Unit and was assigned to the office’s gangs, guns, and drug unit. He also acted as the office’s community liaison for gang violence. In this role, Adam helped crime victims find their voice and ensured those who committed crimes were held accountable. He continues to use these skills to solve problems, assertively addressing the difficult issues his clients face. He currently serves as an editor of the Bar Review Column for the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section’s periodic publication, The Pennsylvania Family Lawyer.
