Cherelle Parker Names Darwin Beauvais to Philadelphia Land Bank Board
On Thursday, April 25, 2024, Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle L. Parker appointed Obermayer Partner Darwin Beauvais to the city’s Land Bank Board. This board plays a transformative role in converting abandoned properties into positive additions to the community. In this role, Darwin will play a vital role in advancing Philadelphia’s goals of becoming a safer, cleaner, and more sustainable city, while also fostering economic opportunities for all residents.
Darwin, a partner in Obermayer’s Business & Finance Department, focuses his practice on zoning, land use, and local government affairs. He brings to the Land Bank Board his experience as a certified Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED® AP) by the U.S. Green Building Council.
Prior to this appointment, Darwin served on Mayor-elect Cherelle Parker’s Transition Team as a member of the Housing, Planning, and Development Committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Visit Philadelphia.
