Darwin Beauvais Reappointed to Board of Directors of Visit Philadelphia

Obermayer Zoning & Land Use Partner Darwin Beauvais was reappointed to serve on the Board of Directors of Visit Philadelphia. Established in 1996 as the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation (GPTMC), Visit Philadelphia aims to enhance the region’s reputation, drive tourism, and stimulate economic growth through day and overnight visits.

In his legal practice, Darwin represents a diverse clientele including real estate owners, developers, and investors across various development and construction projects ranging from residential to corporate and alternative energy ventures. Darwin is certified by the U.S. Green Building Council as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED® AP). This designation gives him an industry-leading understanding of green building practices and principles.  He collaborates closely with elected officials and municipal bodies to advocate for his clients’ interests.

Additionally, Darwin was selected by Mayor-elect Cherelle Parker to contribute to her Transition Team, serving on the Housing, Planning, and Development Committee. Throughout his career, Darwin has earned recognition for his exceptional work from both his peers and the legal community.
