Elizabeth Vaysman Admitted as a Fellow to the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys
Our family law attorney Elizabeth Vaysman was admitted as an adoption Fellow to the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAAA). She first joined AAAA in 2019 as a provisional fellow.
AAAA includes 470 attorneys, law professors, and judges who are recognized as Fellows and have extensive experience in the practice of adoption law, ART law, or both. Located around the world – including the United States, Canada, Australia, Argentina, Israel, and the United Kingdom – Fellows of AAAA are considered legal thought leaders and are a highly-vetted, experienced group. It is the largest professional organization of its type.
Liz has extensive experience in legal processes for adoption and assisted reproductive technology (ART) in Pennsylvania. Liz represents either adoptive parents or expectant parents in interstate domestic adoption placement. She works on independent adoption placements or with clients on agency adoptions, and often counsels on Pennsylvania adoption law, choice of law options with other states, and open adoption contact agreements.
Liz also assists clients in navigating one of the most important, rapidly-changing areas of the law, and one with an immense impact on their lives – assisted reproduction. The field includes a staggering variety of situations, including (and increasingly) LGBTQ clients, donated genetic material, IVF, the surrogacy journey, fertility clinic issues, embryo donation/adoption, birth orders/parentage issues – and more.
