Elizabeth Vaysman to Moderate AAAA’s Estate Planning for Adoption and ART Practitioners
Obermayer family law attorney Elizabeth Vaysman will be moderating a panel at The Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys‘ (AAAA) conference on Estate Planning for Adoption and ART Practitioners, held virtually on November 11-12, 2021. Elizabeth’s panel, titled “How to Build an Estate Planning Practice” is scheduled for Friday, November 12, 2021, at 3:20 pm and will cover the following topics:
- How to start a new practice from scratch – responsibly finding resources to build a forms library.
- How to collect the information you need to create documents responsive to the client’s needs.
- What if you don’t know a lot about taxes, trusts, qualified accounts, etc.?
- How to ethically launch a new practice field without compromising your client’s or your wellbeing.

Elizabeth focuses her practice on all aspects of adoption and reproductive law matters in Southeast Pennsylvania and the Greater Philadelphia area. She represents clients in family building needs, consulting them on the legal process to review their options, such as between private or public adoption or pursuing assisted reproduction and provide next steps and referrals to begin. For many adoption cases, Elizabeth represents either adoptive parents or expectant parents in an interstate domestic adoption placement. She works on independent adoption placements or with clients on agency adoptions, and often counsels on Pennsylvania adoption law, choice of law options with other states, and open adoption contact agreements.
