Governor-elect Josh Shapiro appoints Obermayer Chair David A. Nasatir to serve as Transition’s Legal Co-Counsel

On Tuesday, November 22, 2022, Governor-Elect Shapiro and Lieutenant Governor-Elect Austin Davis announced their appointment of Obermayer Chair, David A. Nasatir to its transitional leadership team. As legal co-counsel to the Transition, Nasatir will advise all the key leadership groups initially appointed to steer the Governor-Elect and Lieutenant Governor-Elect’s transition, and hence, be involved in all major policy decisions of the Transition.

Nasatir’s diverse and extensive experience includes providing counsel to clients in both the private and public sectors. In civic life, Nasatir also chairs the Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority, is a board member of both the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority and is a committee person for the Democratic Party in Whitemarsh, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
