Julie Colton and Stephanie Stecklair Elected to PBA Family Law Section Council
Julie Colton and Stephanie Stecklair were elected to a three-year term as members of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section Council during the section’s meeting on July 16, 2021. As members of the Family Law Section Council, Julie and Stephanie will be involved in the development and practical working of the law relating to marriage, divorce, support, custody, property, and economic matters, and domestic relations generally, as well as the law relating to adoption and to juvenile dependency.
Julie focuses her practice on family law matters including divorce, child custody, support, asset division, prenuptial agreements, and international custody. Julie also has experience in family law mediation and collaborative law in the Pittsburgh area. She is an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Stephanie is a family law attorney in Obermayer’s office in Doylestown, PA. She concentrates her practice in all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody, child and spousal support, equitable distribution, adoption, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and domestic violence. In addition to practicing in Bucks, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Chester, and Delaware Counties, Stephanie has served as a Guardian ad Litem in Philadelphia County.
