Julie Colton Ascends to President of the Neighborhood Legal Services Board
On June 15, 2022, our Pittsburgh-based family law partner Julie Colton ascended to President of the Neighborhood Legal Services (NLS) board, after she served a one-year term as vice-president. Julie also volunteers time at the organization as a pro bono advocate representing plaintiffs in Protection From Abuse (PFA) cases and providing consultations and service recommendations to low-income custody litigants.
Neighborhood Legal Services Association was established in 1966 as a non-profit, public interest law firm to provide civil legal assistance to poor and vulnerable residents of Allegheny (and later) Beaver, Butler, and Lawrence Counties.
