Julie Colton Presented on Kayden’s Law
Obermayer family law partner Julie Colton presented at PBI’s CLE “Kayden’s Law Update” on June 21, 2024. Julie’s panel discussed the history of the law, how counties plan to implement it, how it impacts psychologists’ roles, and where to go from here.
Julie’s panel will discuss the ins and outs of child custody appeals. She will also share her views on how to navigate the complexities of the appeals process, briefing, and ultimate argument.
Julie focuses her practice on family law matters including divorce, child custody, support, asset division, prenuptial agreements, and international custody. Julie also has experience in family law mediation and collaborative law in the Pittsburgh area. She is an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
