Julie Colton Presents on Family Law Legislation and Rules Updates
On Tuesday, March 18, 2025, Obermayer family law partner Julie Colton co-presented a CLE for the Westmoreland Bar Association titled “Family Law Legislation and Rules Update.” The panel covered newly enacted family law legislation and rules, including Kayden’s Law, the Uniform Family Law Arbitration Act, and recent changes to Domestic Relations Rules.
Julie focuses her practice exclusively on family law, handling matters such as divorce, child custody, support, asset division, prenuptial agreements, and international custody disputes. She is also highly experienced in family law mediation in the Pittsburgh area. Beyond her legal practice, Julie serves as an Adjunct Professor of family law at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
