Julie Colton to present on child custody appeals

Obermayer family law partner Julie Colton will be presenting at the Allegheny County Bar Association Family Law Section’s Children’s Issues committee about “How to be Appealing with your Custody Appeal” on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.

Julie’s panel will discuss the ins and outs of child custody appeals. She will also share her views on how to navigate the complexities of the appeals process, briefing, and ultimate argument. 

Julie focuses her practice on family law matters including divorce, child custody, support, asset division, prenuptial agreements, and international custody. Julie also has experience in family law mediation and collaborative law in the Pittsburgh area. She is an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
