Leslie Spoltore to Present on Protection from Abuse Orders and Sexual Violence Protection Orders

On Friday, April 25, 2025, Obermayer family law partner Leslie Spoltore will co-present at The Vincent A Bifferato Superior Court Trial Practice Forum on a panel titled “It’s About Damn Time: PFA & SVOP Training.”

This panel will offer a practical and informative discussion on Protection from Abuse (PFA) Orders and Sexual Violence Protection (SVOP) Orders—often the first, and sometimes only, defense available for victims of domestic and sexual violence. Topics will include the procedural mechanics of these orders, available resources for supporting affected clients and families, and best practices for handling petitions and cross-petitions in both Delaware’s Superior Court and Family Court.

Leslie focuses her practice on family law and commercial and corporate litigation. In family law, she helps clients with divorce, adoption, child support, alimony, custody, guardianship, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements. She also handles property division, including cases involving family-owned businesses.
