Mathieu Shapiro and Melissa Blanco to Present at the ACCGP’s 16th Annual In-House Counsel Conference
On Thursday, April 18, 2024, Obermayer managing partner Mathieu Shapiro and litigation attorney Melissa Blanco will present at the Association of Corporate Counsel Greater Philadelphia (ACCGP) 16th Annual In-House Counsel Conference at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
Their panel, titled “Ethics of Boilerplate: Why is Outside Counsel Spending So Much Time on Throw-in Provisions?” will explore the importance of often overlooked or ignored “boilerplate” provisions that could have a significant impact down the road and ultimately determine whether a contract is deemed successful. The program will also discuss ways to discuss the issues with both outside counsel and the business people responsible for the deal.
