Business Litigation Treatise Co-Authored by Shapiro, and Other Distinguished Practitioners, Heralded as “Invaluable Resource for Trial Lawyers”
Obermayer Managing Partner Mathieu Shapiro – along with other distinguished judges and highly regarded practitioners – contributed to the fifth edition of a treatise, titled “Business and Commercial Litigation in Federal Courts.” Mathieu, together with the Honorable Paul S. Diamond of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, co-authored a chapter, titled “Director & Officer Liability.” The fifth edition was published in December 2021 by Thomson Reuters as a resource for litigators and responds to the latest evolution of business and commercial litigation by addressing issues such as climate change, artificial intelligence, space law, and virtual currencies.
In its review, the Philadelphia Bar Reporter calls the fifth edition “a valuable tool for any trial lawyer – offering a simple yet comprehensive and current introduction to those areas of procedural and substantive law that commercial litigators are likely to encounter in their practice.”
