Attorneys Matthew Green and Ivo Becica to Present on Marijuana Legalization at HRMA Tri-State Legal Symposium
Partner Matthew Green and attorney Ivo Becica will be presenting at Human Resources Management Association’s (HRMA) Tri-State Legal Symposium on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. The Symposium, titled, “Legal Issues Facing Employers.” will feature various attorneys speaking about some of the hottest topics in labor and employment law today. Matthew and Ivo will be presenting, “How the Legalization of Marijuana for Medical and Recreational Use Will Impact the Workplace,” and will discuss the recently passed New Jersey bill regarding marijuana use and it’s implications for employers. They will also review the potential impact of a recreational use law passing, and where legalization of marijuana could cause liability concerns and pitfalls for employers. Some of these points were also recently discussed in an HR Legalist post. For more information or to register for the conference, please click here.
