Matthew Rogers Presented on Family Law at the Allegheny County Bench Bar Conference

Family law Partner Matthew Rogers presented a Family Law panel at the Allegheny County Bench Bar Conference on Friday, June 14, 2024. His session addressed key substantive issues and provided best practice tips for the family law bench and bar. Inspired by the popular evening game show, Court of Common Pleas Family Division judges and attorneys engaged in discussions on topics such as the recent Pennsylvania Superior Court decision on intent-based parentage, the latest draft of state legislation known as “Kayden’s Law” affecting child custody factors, and updates on procedural developments in the Family Law Division.

Additionally, Matthew emerged as the winner of the pickleball tournament held during the conference.
