Matthew Rogers to Present on Kayden’s Law

Family law Partner Matthew Rogers will be presenting to the Allegheny County Bar Association’s (ACBA) Family Law Section Children’s Issues Committee on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. Matthew’s panel, titled “Changes to the Custody Factors and the Impact of Kayden’s Law,” will cover the newly signed legislation by Governor Josh Shapiro on April 15, 2024. This law, inspired by the tragic death of Kayden Mancuso, focuses on improving child safety by prioritizing a party’s history of abuse or relevant criminal convictions in custody decisions.
