Melissa Atkins to Present at Philadelphia Bar Association’s 2023 Bench-Bar & Annual Conference

Melissa Atkins, a partner in Obermayer’s labor and employment department, will co-present at the Philadelphia Bar Association’s 2023 Bench-Bar & Annual Conference, which will be held at the Borgata in Atlantic City, NJ on September 22-23, 2023.

Melissa’s panel, titled “Hot Topics and Trends in Labor and Employment Law: What to Expect in 2024,” will address the issues currently confronting the labor and employment landscape, as well as anticipated future challenges. Panelists will discuss the Pregnant Worker’s Fairness Act, pay transparency laws, the interplay of medical marijuana with the ADA, independent contractor test, non-compete, and NLRB and its encroachment in the non-union employment world.
