Michael Bertin and Diane Zabowski to Present on the Unique Challenges in Gray Divorces
Oberamayer partners will present at the PBI Program “Gray Divorce – Issues and Considerations 2025” on Thursday, February 6, 2025.
This session will address the unique challenges of senior divorces, distinguishing them from typical cases, and provide a comprehensive blueprint for successful representation. Michael will be speaking on Alimony and Premarital Agreements, while Diane will lead a discussion on Guardianships.

Michael co-chairs Obermayer’s Family Law Group, concentrating his practice on child custody, child support, alimony, property distribution, divorce matters, and prenuptial agreements. Michael currently serves as President of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). Michael is a former Chair of the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, former Chair of the Family Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association and the current co-chair of its Custody Committee. Michael is also co-author of the book Pennsylvania Child Custody Law, Practice, And Procedure.
Diane is an experienced orphans’ court litigator who has litigated more than 300 cases and served clients in Montgomery, Chester, Berks, and Bucks Counties. She has served as a court-appointed counsel in incapacity and termination of parental rights cases in Montgomery County and as a court-appointed counsel in incapacity cases in Chester County. Diane was appointed as a Substitute Mental Health Review Officer under the Mental Health Procedures Act in 2018. She has also testified as an expert witness in federal and state courts. She is a regular lecturer at bar associations, community programs, and paralegal programs.
