Michael Bertin presented “Attorney Wellness and Wellbeing During Covid-19: How Has the Legal Profession Been Impacted?” at the PBA Midyear Meeting

Michael Bertin, Co-Chair of Obermayer’s family law department, presented a panel, titled “Attorney Wellness and Wellbeing During Covid-19:  How Has the Legal Profession Been Impacted?” at the Pennsylvania Bar Association  (PBA) Midyear Meeting at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa, Bonita Springs, FL on Friday, February 4, 2022. Michael and other members of the Quality of Life/Balance Committee and the Large Firm Committee discussed how the pandemic impacted the legal community and how to avoid stress in the practice of law.

Michael is a former Chair of the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He is listed in Best Lawyers in America and has published over one hundred articles. Bertin co-authored the book on Pennsylvania child custody law “Pennsylvania Child Custody Law, Practice, and Procedure”, used by judges and lawyers across the state as a reference. Bertin is a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and has an active family law practice. He handles all phases of the negotiation and litigation of domestic relations cases, including divorce, custody, support, alimony, property distribution, prenuptial agreements, and related issues. Bertin also serves as chair of Obermayer’s Pro Bono Committee.
