Michael Bertin Presents on Child Support and Alimony at AAML Multi-State Seminar
Michael Bertin, Co-Chair of Obermayer’s Family Law Department, spoke at the AAML Multi-State Seminar on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. Alongside his fellow AAML members from Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, he explored jurisdictional issues, equitable distribution, support, and other key topics under their respective state laws. Michael’s presentation specifically addressed child support, spousal support, and alimony in Pennsylvania.
Michael co-chairs Obermayer’s Family Law Group, concentrating his practice on child custody, child support, alimony, property distribution, divorce matters, and prenuptial agreements. Michael currently serves as President of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). Michael is a former Chair of the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, former Chair of the Family Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association and the current co-chair of its Custody Committee. Michael is also co-author of the book Pennsylvania Child Custody Law, Practice, And Procedure.
