Obermayer Attorneys Presented at the PBI Family Law Institute
Obermayer attorneys Julie Colton, Samantha Evian, and Amanda Frett presented at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute (PBI) Family Law Institute on April 19, 2022. The two-day institute was an interactive and virtual CLE, considered to be a premier event for PA family law attorneys.
Julie and Samantha co-presented a panel, titled “Drafting a “Simple” Settlement Agreement with Care,” and Amanda, co-presented “Case Law Updates,” discussing recent appellate decisions.
Julie focuses her practice on family law matters including divorce, child custody, support, asset division, prenuptial agreements, and international custody. Julie also has experience in family law mediation and collaborative law in the Pittsburgh area. She is an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Samantha has extensive experience dealing with complex family law matters such as divorce, division of high assets and routine marital estates, support matters, child custody, international divorce, international custody matters, and abuse matters as well as other domestic relations issues, which are often challenging and emotionally charged. She frequently represents clients who reside in Montgomery County and the Main Line, the Philadelphia area, as well as Bucks, Chester, and Delaware counties.
Amanda is a family law attorney in the greater Doylestown, PA area. She has handled high conflict and large asset cases involving pre- and post-nuptial agreements, child custody matters, child support actions, domestic violence, and divorce matters, including spousal support/alimony and the identification, valuation, classification, and division of marital and non-marital property.
