Obermayer Attorneys to Present at PBI’s Family Law Institute 2023

Obermayer partners Hillary Moonay,  Adam Tanker, and Diane Zabowski will be presenting at the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s (PBI) Family Law Institute 2023 on April 19-20, 2023 in Mechanicsburg, PA.

 Hillary’s panel, titled “Gag Orders in Child-Custody Litigation: Social Media and the Privacy Interests of Children,” will focus on gag orders and the privacy interests of the child.

Adam’s session, titled “Third Party Custody Cases” will examine third parties in custody three years after standing for grandparents and other third parties was changed and expanded.  It will look at the law and trends that have emerged in third-party custody as well as how the practice has changed as a result of this expansion.

Diane’s panel, titled “Grey Divorce: Issues and Considerations” will discuss the challenging issues confronting counsel when the client suffers from cognitive impairment. Attendees will learn how to identify the issues that distinguish senior divorces from usual practice and become familiar with the blueprint for successful representation.
