Obermayer Attorneys to Present at the 2023 PBA Family Law Section Winter Meeting

Obermayer partners Hillary Moonay, Michael Bertin, Julie Colton, and Stephanie Winegrad will participate in this year’s PBA Family Law Section Winter Meeting, which will be held at The Hotel Hershey on January 13-15, 2023.

Hillary Moonay, Michael Bertin, and  Stephanie Winegrad will be presenting at the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) Program, titled “Timing is Everything – Making the Right Moves at the Right Time.” This will be a fast-paced program with each speaking fellow presenting a 3–5-minute tip for all practitioners.

Julie Colton will be moderating the Plenary Session, titled “Effect of the Dobbs Decision and How Constitutional Law May Affect Your Family Law Case.” The panel will discuss how Dobbs and other constitutional law decisions may influence current cases. It will also provide tips on how to identify, preserve and address right to privacy, freedom of speech, marriage equality, third-party custody, and other constitutional law issues in our work, as well as how to preserve those issues for appeal.
