Obermayer’s Pittsburgh Location to Host Upcoming CLE, “Aging America’s Challenge to the Law”
Obermayer will be hosting a CLE titled, “Aging America’s Challenge to the Law,” for PittLaw’s Office of Development and Alumni Affairs. The program will be hosted by PittLaw Professor Larry Frolik, and will address surrogate decision making, guardianship, and powers of attorney for the aging American population. It will focus on three primary questions: (1) Who is to be named the surrogate decision maker? (2) What is the extent of his or her authority? And (3) Whose values are to guide the surrogate decision maker?
Lunch will be provided for all attendees, in addition to 1 hour of substantive credit.
The CLE will be held at Obermayer’s Pittsburgh office, located at BNY Mellon Center, 3rd Floor, 500 Grant Street, Suite 5240 in Pittsburgh, PA 15219-2502.
