Alex is an attorney in Obermayer’s Business & Finance Department, where he provides strategic tax guidance to individuals, corporations, LLCs, and partnerships. He collaborates with clients and legal professionals to develop solutions that align business objectives with tax regulations. Alex also assists with entity formation transactions for tax efficiency and represents clients before the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue and the IRS.
Passionate about continuous learning, Alex stays ahead in the ever-evolving field of tax law.
Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, skiing, fishing, and backpacking. He also spends time at the beach in Long Beach Island, NJ, and is a lifelong Philadelphia Phillies fan who attends as many games as possible.
Alex has experience representing clients before the IRS and state taxation agencies. He advises on state and local sales tax collection and remittance, tax liabilities related to entity selection and formation, and sales tax considerations for mixed transactions and digital services.
Alex graduated with honors from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he was recognized with the Law Faculty Outstanding Scholarship award and was a member of the Business Law Society.
