Ed is an attorney in Obermayer’s Business & Finance Department in Mount Laurel, NJ. He focuses his practice on corporate and business transactions, representing financial institutions, real estate developers, local youth sports organizations, municipalities, and investors, as well as private clients.
Ed is a problem solver. He enjoys identifying issues for his clients and helping them choose the best path to success. As a former collegiate ice hockey player, Ed stays active by golfing with his friends and clients in his spare time. Ed’s competitiveness has transferred from the ice to the golf course, to the professional world. Ed strives to achieve the best results for his clients.
When not focusing on work or his golf game, Ed enjoys spending time watching any historical documentary. Ed believes that we must learn from our past accomplishments, and failures, in order to improve the way we live.
Ed has experience representing local municipalities and local sports organizations. Ed represents private clients when it comes to tax sale foreclosures and has successfully foreclosed on various properties. Ed has trial experience from his days practicing family law, which included Ed obtaining a permanent alimony award for his male client. Ed also has experience in drafting various legal briefs and memorandums for judges and prosecutors.
Ed earned the Dean’s List while in law school, as well as six times while pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Robert Morris University.
Ed also participated in John J. Gibbons Criminal Procedure Moot Court Competition and was a member of ACHA Division 1 Ice Hockey, as well as an Assistant Captain of the ACHA Division 1 Ice Hockey Team.
