Taylor focuses on labor and employment law, creating employee training materials on key workplace issues like hiring, discipline, termination, disability accommodations, and drug testing. She also helps clients with internal investigations and discrimination, or harassment claims in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies.
Taylor is passionate about helping clients navigate legal challenges and finding practical solutions that meet their goals while ensuring compliance. She finds it rewarding to guide them through obstacles and contribute to their success.
Outside of work, Taylor enjoys movies, exploring Philadelphia’s food scene, collecting vinyl records, and cheering for University of Tennessee sports teams.
Taylor has extensive experience handling litigation in federal courts and administrative agencies, focusing on employment law cases under the ADA, ADEA, Title VII, and other state and federal laws. She has also assisted with internal investigations of ethics complaints, including interviewing witnesses and advising employers on employee concerns. Additionally, she develops employee training materials on workplace issues like hiring, discipline, termination, disability accommodations, and drug testing.
Taylor is a fellow at the National Employment Law Council Academy. She is one of just 30 management-side labor and employment associates nationwide chosen for advanced training in witness preparation, defending depositions, wage and hour cases, settlement negotiations, and client service skills.
In law school, Taylor was the Managing Editor of the Penn State Law Arbitration Law Review. She was the Black Law Students Association Mock Trial Regional Champion and a National Mock Trial Qualifier. She also served as the Mid-Atlantic Regional Chair for the National Black Law Students Association. Taylor also completed a federal summer clerkship on the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals for Judge Julia Gibbons.
Taylor earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Tennessee with honors, including summa cum laude. She received the Torchbearer Award, was a Phi Beta Kappa member, and a Haslam Scholar. She also served as a member of the Student Advisory Board for the Office of Diversity and Engagement and Chapter President of the Zeta Delta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
