“The scariest aspect of any family law case is the unknown and I strive to give clients a thorough understanding of their options and possible outcomes.”
Tessa focuses her practice on all aspects of family law, including divorce, equitable distribution, child and spousal support, custody, mediation, and domestic abuse in the greater Mount Laurel, NJ area.
Tessa believes that a strong client-attorney relationship starts with listening and understanding the unique aspects of each case. She strives to understand the most important issues for her clients, so then she could advise them on their realistic options and develop a strategy. Tessa communicates with clients regularly so that they always know she is working towards achieving their goals.
Tessa became a family lawyer so she could advocate for the well-being of children, which she believes starts by having healthy and stable family situations.
In her free time, Tessa loves to spend time with her family and friends, check out new restaurants, go to concerts and comedy shows, golf, and read.
Tessa has experience in representing clients for family actions involving child custody and support, parenting time, marital dissolution, and domestic violence. She also serves as court-appointed Guardian Ad Litem for children and incapacitated adults.
During law school, Tessa focused on children and public interest law. She was President of the Public Interest Law Students Association. Tessa also participated in the Public Interest Law Center’s Children’s Advocacy Clinic, where she represented children and young adults in the foster care system.
