Partner Julie Colton to Speak at Pitt Law’s “The Media, The Courts & Counsel™”
Obermayer family law partner Julie Colton will be speaking at Pitt Law’s The Media, The Courts & Counsel™, an event launched by Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts (PMC). PMC is a statewide nonpartisan, nonprofit organization aimed at educating non-legal professionals about how to make one’s voice heard in the modern day court system. This event will be working with journalists to educate them on interpreting complex judicial events and developing stronger relationships with the courts. Julie will be providing perspective from the point of view of a family lawyer, presenting on basic legal principles so journalists can better understand what is happening in family courts.
The Media, The Courts & Counsel™ at PittLaw will take place on Tuesday, June 4th from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. Interested parties may register here.
Julie focuses her practice on family law matters including divorce, child custody, support, asset division, prenuptial agreements, and international custody.
