Partner Stacey Pitcher Appointed to Board of The Animal Haven
Labor & Employment partner Stacey Pitcher was recently appointed to the Board of The Animal Haven, a non-profit organization in New Haven, Connecticut, that provides safe refuge for cats and dogs while they search for permanent homes. Stacey will be utilizing her employment law background to assist the organization with revamping their policies and procedures for employee training. She will also be assisting with fundraising and event planning.
This new endeavor pairs well with some of Stacey’s other volunteer works, which includes organizing dog adoption events.
Stacey advises employers regarding recent changes to the law, writes and revises policies and procedures, conducts a variety of training and seminars, and provides risk management solutions to avoid or mitigate litigation and exposure. Her clients include Fortune 500 companies, municipalities, housing authorities, school districts, nonprofits, employers in a variety of industries, as well as individual managers, executives, directors and officers.
