William Benner to Be Honored for 50 Years of Membership by Bucks County Bar Association
William Benner, a Partner in Obermayer’s Business and Finance Department, will be honored by the Bucks County Bar Association (BCBA) for 50 years of membership. The Fifty-Year Member Awards recognize lawyers who have dedicated five decades to the profession and the BCBA. The honorees will be celebrated during the BCBA Annual Meeting on Thursday, December 12th, at the Bucks County Justice Center.
Bill has extensive experience representing businesses and individuals, primarily in Bucks and Montgomery counties, on zoning and land development matters. He also handles transactional matters involving leasing, sales, and financing, as well as property tax assessment appeals and eminent domain cases. Bill began his legal career in the U.S. Navy’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps and later transitioned to real estate law. Over the years, Bill has represented clients in a variety of projects, including mixed-use developments, shopping centers, auto dealerships, franchise restaurants, and cell towers. He also has experience in environmental regulatory matters before the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board.
